While Everyone Talks About Love, We're Talking About Loving Yourself.

February arrives full of hearts, flowers, romantic messages, and constant reminders about love. Love for a partner, romantic love, love for our friends and family, the love we show outward.

And although all of that can be beautiful, at Siu we want to pause to talk to you about something just as important, or even more so: self-love.

Because before loving someone else, we need to learn to love ourselves

Loving others is sometimes easier than loving ourselves

Many times we give ourselves completely to others. We're available, we listen, we show up, we give without measure, but when it comes to ourselves, we're the first to criticize ourselves, push ourselves or ignore what we feel.

                                                            Maybe you've recognized yourself here:

                                                            • Saying “yes” when you wanted to say “no”.
                                                            • Putting your needs off for later.
                                                            • Seeking outside validation to feel like enough.
                                                            • Measuring your worth by what you do for others.

There's nothing wrong with loving deeply — the problem appears when that love doesn't start with you.

                                                            Self-love isn't selfishness, it's awareness

Loving yourself doesn't mean thinking only of yourself or disconnecting from others. It means recognizing yourself, respecting yourself and treating yourself with the same understanding you offer the people you love.

                                                            When self-love is present:

                                                            • You set boundaries without guilt.
                                                            • You choose yourself without fear.
                                                            • You love from freedom, not from lack.
                                                            • You relate from balance, not from need.

Learning to love yourself gives you the chance to love in a healthier, more conscious, and more assertive way. Because no one can give what they don't have.

                                                            When self-love weakens

A lack of self-love isn't always obvious right away; sometimes it shows up as insecurity, emotional dependence, fear of abandonment, or difficulty making decisions. Other times, simply as a constant feeling of not being enough.

These emotions, when they persist over time, directly affect our emotional well-being and the way we relate to the world.

And that's where accompanying ourselves with love becomes essential.

A path walked step by step

Self-love isn't built overnight. It's an intimate, personal and often deep process. A path that involves looking at yourself honestly, listening to yourself, and allowing yourself to heal.

At Siu we believe this path can be supported from a natural and emotional place.

Siu's Amor Propio blend was created to accompany you in this process of reconnecting with yourself. Its flower essences work on an emotional level, helping to strengthen self-esteem, self-acceptance, and your bond with yourself.

It's not about changing who you are, but about remembering your worth, embracing yourself more gently, and allowing yourself to live from a more loving and conscious place.

This Valentine's Day, while the world talks about loving others, at Siu we want to remind you of something essential: the most important love is the one you have for yourself.

At Siu, you matter to us — you.
