Learning from puppyhood is the best way to teach our companion animals how to behave, just like with humans.

Learning in cats:
Cats have both observational learning (through imitation) and associative learning — they're very routine-driven, habit-based animals, which is why from an early age we need to be very consistent in correcting and rewarding their behavior to get good results.
We also need to get them used to the litter box and the scratching post, which are essential to their routine.
As for playtime, it should happen every day, preferably at the same time — this helps them burn off energy, and that socialization makes them friendlier and less standoffish.
