Support Your Children Through Their Different Stages With Our Flower Essences.

Flower essences can work on our children, helping them achieve the harmony they need. By supporting their healthy growth, we can help them develop all the gifts and talents they have to offer the world. Flower therapy supports the natural changes that occur in everyone's life, and as we grow older we can take on life's challenges in a balanced way.

Newborn

Birth is a complex event for both mother and baby. When we begin working with flower therapy in newborns, we do so through the mother, who transmits it to her baby by taking the flower essences herself. We can also spray the flower blend before putting the baby in the crib, at bath time diluted in the water, or during a body massage along with moisturizing cream.

For this stage there's a flower blend designed to support the process and change that mother and baby will go through, as the little one moves from the womb — where nothing is lacking — to adapting to the world, where they must begin doing things on their own.

Star of Bethlehem

This is the ideal flower for after childbirth, because it balances and prevents emotional blockages.

Mimulus

For fear of what will happen next.

Walnut

For adapting to change and accepting the new situation.

It's important to understand that for the baby there's a primary fear, which is natural survival instinct, but there's also a secondary, learned fear — children learn fear from their mother. That's why flower therapy helps balance any emotional state that arises at this stage, supporting healthier development.

The First Years

The most important thing for parents is to build good communication with their baby, an action Dr. Santiago Rojas calls “good synchronization between parents.” It's ideal for this flower blend to be taken in the first years for good synchronization or connection with parents.

Sunflower:

To begin building a good relationship with the father.

Mariposa Lily:

Strengthens the bond with the mother.

Scleranthus:

Syncs children with life's cycles and rhythms.

Dr. Rojas recommends taking this blend 4 drops 4 times a day diluted in water at any stage of childhood. If the child is very young, you can apply the drops to their belly button, remembering that the belly button was the point of consciousness and contact with life.

Children always want to learn; however, many times, instead of teaching them, we prevent them from learning. This is because we control and condition them. Children learn through their own motivation and by observation. So we must pay attention to the example we want to set for them.

Being willing to learn is fundamental to life; if we allow them to develop the ability to be more perceptive and attentive, children will improve their skills and find their purpose.

The Ideal Blend for Pre-Adolescence:

  • Zinnia: This is the flower for developing play; it also helps parents connect with their inner child.
  • Mimosa: A flower to help a child build self-esteem; it will help them understand their limits, stop comparing themselves to others, and make things happen.
  • Corn: To help them connect with the earth.
  • Lily: This is the flower of creativity; it will help develop their creativity.

There are two things we should keep in mind. First, as adults we often want to educate them with theories and hypotheses they won't understand — besides telling them how things should be, we must show them, through our own actions, what we consider the best path. And second, we should motivate them to develop their capacity to learn, to discover life through observation, to question things, so that we, as adults, can be a companion in their growth and development.
