Rescate is a composition of
flower essences that, as its name suggests, rescues us from the hardest and most complex moments of our lives. It has become popular among the generations as the emergency remedy that balances emotions and heals from within
.
Clemencia Ibáñez is a 65-year-old sociologist with extensive experience in social, environmental and urban projects. Whenever Clemencia speaks, she captivates with her slow but powerful voice as she tells how Rescate managed to save her from an emotion that seemed to have no way out.
A woman of unique experiences who currently lives with her daughter and her grandson, she points out that the first time she came across the
flower essences, she perceived them as something purely aesthetic that people used to look and feel more "beautiful"; all this she thought while accompanying a friend to an alternative medicine center in Bogotá, Colombia.
However, Clemencia never thought that her first contact with the
flower essences would be a pause along the way, one that would teach her to connect with herself and with the gifts of nature.
Understanding emotions
About seven years ago, for family reasons, Clemencia had to experience firsthand the anguish and worry that is lived when a person in her family circle tries to commit suicide and harm themselves.
That episode was so strong for her that she began to feel the silent symptoms of depression, extreme anxiety, extreme stress; combined with her work, these emotions began to worsen to such a point that they blocked her and left her without air.
In the midst of her anguish and with depression invading her being, Clemencia decides to seek help where she had accompanied her friend the first time, and upon entering there, she realized that she had voluntarily sought to rescue her emotions.
"I came to the
flower essences because I felt I could no longer handle the situation, and it is here that I met Dr. Santiago Rojas and the vibrational energy of the flowers. There is only one reason that led me to him, because I did not want to be medicated anymore with anxiolytics and, as they say, I gave myself body and soul to flower therapy". Says Clemencia.
Ibáñez, coming from a believing family, felt that heaven had sent her a sign to connect with her beliefs and with Mother Earth.
"The first thing Dr. Santiago did when he saw me was to calm me, with a kind of calm in which I felt I was vibrating, due to the high levels of anxiety with which I arrived at that place".
As Clemencia says, the first thing she received was a reassuring word from Dr. Santiago Rojas and the second was that something curious reached her hands, a bottle whose name was Rescate, together with a
flower essence on its label,
walnut, a component that helps adaptation to changes. Something that surprised her because she had gone there to be rescued from the changes that had shaken her world.
"We started a treatment of about three months with the
essences, where I began with the
flower essence of Rescate and walnut and some trace elements that I took for three months rigorously. And after some time of starting this treatment I begin to feel how everything around me becomes serene”.
After some time with the treatment, Clemencia, a woman with her faith placed in what she was doing, realizes that what was happening around her was not serious, and it is then that she begins to calm down and the negative feelings that had been circling her mind were no longer there.
“I realize that while everything in my relative's place was getting worse, in the meantime I was gathering myself to calm down on my own, and the sad thoughts that had led me to depression have not appeared again to this day”.
The first aid remedy
Rescate, best known as the
first aid remedy, is a mixture of
Flower Essences that allows us, as its name says, to rescue ourselves from traumatic situations and to give good management to states of shock.
It is ideal for people who: are in a difficult situation or find it hard to think clearly, receive bad news or undergo some surgical intervention.
Its main components are:
- Star of Bethlehem
- Rock Rose
- Impatiens
- Clematis
- Cherry Plum
On some occasions Rescate can be combined or have other
essences added to give good management to emotions. As long as its capacity in the bottle is not exceeded by the amount of essences supplied, where the recommendation is a maximum of 7 components per patient.
What are the effects of Rescate?
The Rescate essence allows the person to regain calm in a few moments and allows control over overflowing emotions, balancing the energy field after taking it.
Finding the path of healing
For Clemencia Ibáñez the
flower essences led her along the path of healing, indicating that: “The
essences show you the path of healing; in my case it began with serenity, a serenity that loudly silences anxiety and the monster of depression; I also calmed the shouts from outside and the flowers guide you to the path of salvation”.
Today, Clemencia, being a sociologist by nature and profession, continues taking Rescate, which has allowed her to give a more vital meaning to her days, since due to the pandemic she has created a support and listening network for older adults, where she listens to them and sometimes provides them with food assistance.
In addition, she wrote a book with her own experiences where she captures her life experiences and writes chronicles in which she tells her stories, her motivations and whom she has wanted to help
“I achieved everything because at some point in my life I decided to rescue myself… TO HEAL”.
